Mozilla Firefox - Mozilla developers have finally released the first beta version for Firefox 3.6 and is now downloadable for who want to try it. Firefox 3.6 will be the next generation after Firefox 3.5x. Firefox 3.6 Final will still be scheduled for release in early 2010

Firefox 3.6 Beta 1 is built by using the Gecko 1.9.2 platform on the web rendering engine, is different with Firefox 3.5 based on Gecko 1.9.1. The developers have added several new features and improvements to the browser Firefox 3.6 Beta 1 as JavaScript performance improvements, support for the HTML5 web technology, and accelerate the startup time when running Firefox
  • Users can now change their browser’s appearance with a single click, with built in support for Personas.
  • Firefox 3.6 will alert users about out of date plugins to keep them safe.
  • Open, native video can now be displayed full screen, and supports poster frames.
  • Support for the WOFF font format.

The most striking feature in Firefox 3.6 until this point is to improve performance. The new web technology is great for web developers, but websites that use the technology are still rare.
